How much?

The initial telephone consultation is free.
503 241-4105

Office consultations are $75. We'd like to meet with you for about an hour and a half. That will give you the chance to talk to experienced defense counsel about all the facts of your case, including possible defenses, mitigation, investigation, maximum and minimum sentences, strategies, and potential witnesses. We want to go through your case with a fine tooth comb and not miss any of the important details. Use this consultation to get all of your questions answered and whether or not we're going to be a good fit for you. If you decide to retain us, your initial consultation fee counts toward your retainer.

The cost of your case depends on the kind of charges and the number of charges you face. Single count misdemeanors begin at $1500; felonies begin at $2500, except Ballot Measure 11, which are substantially higher.

What's covered?

Everything associated with your case except trial and expenses. This includes all of your office visits, police reports, all of your court appearances, hearings, telephone consultations, attorney conversations with witnesses, correspondence, preparation of subpoenas, negotiations, visits to the crime scene, and everything else assorted with your case except trial and expenses. Trial is typically $3,000 - $5,000 additional depending on the complexity of the case. Most cases are resolved without trial.
